About the AI Lab

The innovation & incubation platform of De Cronos Groep

The AI Lab is where innovative ideas meet real-world challenges. Backed by the established AI expertise of De Cronos Groep, it's a unique place where promising ideas get the support they need to grow into something real.

Why we exist

Here to solve real-world problems

Too often, promising ideas are built in isolation. By the time they reach the real world, nobody is waiting for them.

The AI Lab was created to do the opposite. Through De Cronos Groep, we're closely connected to organisations across industries and the challenges they face every day. We also work with researchers, academic partners and innovators who want to see their ideas make a tangible difference beyond the classroom or the lab.

That's why we start with challenges that matter. Whether they originate in business, research or broader societal needs, we provide the fertile ground where promising ideas can take root, grow and create real-world impact.

Not just another innovation platform

How we work

  • 01

    Bring us your 'impossible'

Have a challenge nobody seems able to solve? We'll assemble a multidisciplinary team to explore what doesn't exist yet.

  • 02

    Built on real-world problems

We love bold, cutting-edge projects. But technology is only interesting when it solves a real problem. That's why every Lab project starts with a challenge worth solving.

  • 03

    Clear timelines, clear decisions

Every challenge gets a measurable objective and a clear deadline. We move fast, so you'll quickly know whether to build, scale or move on.

  • 04

    From prototype to solution

When we discover a real and repeatable market, we don't stop at validation. We help transform promising solutions into products, ventures and new businesses.
